With thousands of products to choose from, we know sometimes finding what you’re looking for can be tricky. At Fullscript, we’re continuously improving our search function so you can easily find exactly what you’d like to recommend. After all, we want to save you time so you can focus on patient care.

Here’s how to use Fullscript’s advanced search feature:

  1. Type what you’re looking for into the search bar

For example: If you’re looking for an ingredient, such as magnesium, you can type “mag”. You don’t need to type in the full name, our intuitive search tool will help you find what you’re looking for.

Search results that match what you typed will be bolded in the results as you type, and will be color-coded in the following ways:

From here you can either:

Continue typing what you’re looking for (make sure to check your spelling)

OR

If what you’re looking for pops up, you can either use your mouse to click on it or use your arrow keys to scroll down and select by hitting enter – your selection will be highlighted in grey.

NOTE: If there’s a product name and supplement type that match perfectly, we’ll ask you if you want to search by the supplement type instead – you’ll get more specific search results that way.

Now you’re in the Magnesium supplement type, which lets you search specifically for what you need with more precision using the Advanced Search Sidebar.

2. Using the Advanced Search Sidebar

In the Magnesium supplement type, you can look for a specific kind of Magnesium, like “Glycinate”. To do this, you can type it right into the search bar, or you can select “Glycinate” from the sidebar on the left.

Some things to note:

  • Results will become more and more precise based on what you select
  • The tags on the side will disappear if there aren’t any products in the results
  • Made a mistake? Click on a selected tag to deselect it
  • When you’re already searching within a supplement type, we’ll show you results that are subcategories of supplement types before other kinds of results that are not in the current supplement type

See below how on the right side of the screen it says “Removes Magnesium”? We made some updates to help you understand what you’re doing when you are performing additional searches. If you choose “Glycinate” or “Bisglycinate” in the drop-down menu, you’ll still be searching in the Magnesium supplement type, but if you choose any of the other three, you’ll no longer be searching within Magnesium.

3. Brand Search

Want to look specifically for a brand? Type in the brand name and press enter. Now you’re only seeing products that are made by Pure Encapsulations, that are in the magnesium supplement type and have the magnesium glycinate subtag.
