Healthy Immune and Lymphatic Function
The immune system is not a separate and discrete network. Maintaining a healthy environment in the body is essential to creating a robust and effective immune response.
Combining nutrients with immune-supporting botanical medicine “lymphagogue” formulas helps to improve the flow and production of lymph fluid and materials throughout the lymphatic network and into the circulatory system, as well as to enhance immune surveillance, promote a healthy response to seasonal stresses, and optimize recovery time.*
Zinc
Daily dose: 1 capsule, once per day
Active dose: 2 capsules, once per day
ImmuCare
Daily dose: 3 capsules, twice per day
For pronounced deficiency: 4 capsules, three times per day
This formula promotes healthy immune system function, encouraging healthy red and white blood cell counts and activities while supporting bone marrow health. A higher dose is recommended for pronounced deficiency presenting with fatigue and lethargy. Key ingredients improve absorption and assimilation.
Mushroom Synergy
Daily dose: 3 capsules, twice per day
Active dose: 4 capsules, three times per day
Mushroom Synergy promotes healthy detoxification and lymph function. It can be taken as a daily supportive tonic or to provide immune system support during times of stress. Key ingredients improve absorption and assimilation.
Throat and Gland Spray
Daily dose: 3-5 sprays, three times per day
Active dose: 7-10 sprays, four to six times per day
Combines propolis with lymphagogues to address tissues in the throat directly while also encouraging a healthy immune response in the body.
Powerful lymphagogues can enhance immune surveillance and improve lymph flow throughout the body. Throat and Gland spray can be used in ¼ tsp doses for more lymphagogue action.
Flew Away
Daily dose: 2 capsules, twice per day
Acute dose: 4-6 capsules, three times per day
Flew Away can help address seasonal challenges. It induces diaphoresis and promotes a healthy immune response. Flew Away can be taken prophylactically or during acute seasonal stress.
Additional therapeutics to optimize immune system function
- Focus on eating whole foods. Eat as many vegetables as possible and avoid sugar, sweets, pastries, bread, and heavy foods. Drink fresh water and herbal teas and avoid sugary drinks.
- Eat the following foods daily: Raw garlic, ginger, oregano, coconut oil, fermented foods, walnuts, green tea, apple cider vinegar, and medicinal mushrooms (e.g., shitake, maitake, reishi, cordyceps, turkey tail, chaga). *Avoid sulfur-rich foods if sulfur intolerant.
- Exercise daily. Moderate exercise boosts immune function.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol.
- Get good sleep. An increase in sleep has been shown to increase the number of white blood cells in your body.
- Get fresh air every 1-2 hours through an open window or by being outside.
- Combine Flew Away with saunas to enhance diaphoretic action.
When evaluating the state of the immune system, the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio is an important factor to assess. High levels of neutrophils are associated with bacterial infections and indicate a more inflammatory state in the body. Our ideal ratio is close to 2:1 in a healthy person.
