Manage Medications in the Fullscript Patient Mobile App

Updated on October 23, 2024 | Published on October 22, 2024

  2. Manage Medications in the Fullscript Patient Mo...

We’re excited to announce that patients can now track medications – in addition to supplements – in the Fullscript mobile app.

What’s new

This update makes it easier for patients to stay on track with all of their doses in a personalized experience that includes scheduling by time of day and dose reminders. Providers and staff will also get a real-time snapshot of medications in patient profiles, making it faster than ever to write well-informed supplement plans.

How it works

  1. Patients search an extensive medication database: With access to nearly 200,000 medications, it’s easy for patients to find and add their medications.
  2. Customized dose schedules: Input details such as number of capsules, when to take them, and any special instructions from a healthcare provider.
  3. Enable dose reminders: Patients can stay on track with push notifications sent to their devices when it’s time to take their medications or supplements.
  4. Providers are kept informed: The details patients add to the app automatically sync to their profile, giving practitioners a list of medications, doses, and active ingredients.
Learn how patients can view personalized treatment plans, set reminders for supplements and medications, and improve adherence with refill scheduling and dose management tools.

Why patients love it

Managing lifestyle changes and supplement recommendations on top of medication regimens can be downright overwhelming. The mobile app is an adherence sidekick that helps patients offload the time and energy required to stay consistent with doses, so they can focus on their health goals. The addition of medications to the app helps patients:

  • Stay consistent: Receive timely reminders for when to take medication and supplement doses.
  • Personalize their schedules: A personalized view of what products to take, when, and how, all in a convenient layout.
  • Keep their provider informed: Offload details into Fullscript so providers can easily monitor and adjust plans according to supplement and medication intake.

For practitioners, this feature unlocks a comprehensive view of your patients’ supplement and medication habits. When patients manage their health with Fullscript, you’re equipped with the information needed to provide personalized care:

  • Increased patient engagement: Patients who use Fullscript to manage supplements and medications are 2x more likely to remain engaged with their account and 1.6x more likely to refill their supplements.*
  • Consolidated insights: See a full list of supplements and medications in the patient profile, complete with ingredient breakdowns.
  • Get time back in your day: Spend less time preparing for appointments, reviewing products during appointments, and following up with patients to ensure they’re taking their doses.
