Like anyone on a wellness journey, we know that change is the only way to improve. This commitment to constant improvement — while trying to avoid the disruption that can come with constant change — is why we’re releasing a number of thoughtful improvements to you and your patients’ Fullscript experience all at once.
This batch of upgrades to the current practitioner and patient experience was designed to:
- Increase your efficiency when writing plans
- Make it easier to share plans with multiple patients and to customize them with attachments
- Ensure this increased personalization and the intention behind your plans translates over to the patient side — making it easier for patients to access, absorb, and follow your recommendations
Here’s what you can expect:
1. A consolidated plan-writing page with more ways for you to share
What’s new
We’ve simplified how you’ll write plans, condensing all the core actions into a single place and reducing the number of ways to get there — freeing up a little brain space that you can redirect to patient care. From this plan-writing hub, you can activate all of your recommending workflows, like:
- Sending personalized plans
- Crafting plans that are suitable to more than one patient
- Share those plans with several or all patients at once; or
- Save those plans as a template to jump start your future plan writing
- Get inspiration from 40+ templates that contain evidence-based protocols created by our integrative medical team. Apply to your own plans!
Why did we build this?
We realized that practitioners were forced to navigate to different areas of their Fullscript account in order to create plans, update existing plans, leverage ready-made templates, create templates, or share a plan with multiple — or all — patients.
Bouncing around the platform = lost time!
We want to help you redirect energy from building and editing supplement plans to other aspects of patient care and growing your practice.
What you’re getting:
- A single place to complete all tasks related to writing and sending a plan
- A new catalog view, where you’ll have products, favorites, patient resources, and templates at your fingertips
Tip!: Data shows that attaching patient resources drives higher fill rates and leads to patients purchasing more of the recommended products in a plan. And, 87% of patients recently surveyed said that when they receive related resources, they find it easier to follow their practitioner’s plan.
- More ways to drive patients to multi-patient plans, with the ability to generate an external link for a multi-patient plan shared with more than one patient and the option to have Fullscript notify patients by email when you share a plan with ALL patients
We’re also bringing simplicity and clarity to our terminology, bringing it more in line with the language our practitioners say they use.

2. A plan overview page for patients, with your dosage instructions front and center
What’s new
We’ve made it less overwhelming for your patients to review and follow the supplement plans you send on Fullscript with updates that put your instructions front and center. They now have a clearer page that summarizes all the plans you’ve shared with them. Patients can select which one they’d like to review — without needing to sift through the details of every plan they’ve ever received.
Lastly, we made your custom dosage and duration details more prominent in the patient view so they know how much to take, and for how long.

Why did we build this?
We know our practitioners put a lot of time and effort into building plans for their patients — whether individual or multi-patient. We also know that patients miss dosage instructions in Fullscript — even when you’ve taken the time to add them. We’ve addressed this with the new layout so practitioners can have product recommendations AND specific instructions all in one place, and patients won’t miss a thing.
Did you know?: Less than half of plans on Fullscript contain dosage instructions, but this makes it easier than ever to follow your instructions, so be sure to update dosage and duration details before sending a plan.
What your patients are getting:
- A more simplified overview of plans you’ve given them access to — including personalized individual plans as well as ones that have been shared with them as part of a group
- While it’s always best to add your recommended dosage and duration instructions, we’ll also clearly label when instructions are from the supplier
Tip!: Selecting ‘ongoing’ as a ‘duration’ field for plans that address chronic conditions increase Autoship activation rates by 50%. Did you know that patients on Autoship are 70% more likely to refill?
We’re also bringing simplicity and clarity to the terminology we’re using with your patients, bringing it more in line with the language our practitioners tell us they use, and that patients say they understand.

The bottom line
We don’t want to disrupt your clinical workflow or your patients’ ordering experience — we want to improve both! Based on customer feedback and tons of user testing, we’re confident these changes will make it faster for you to write better plans and easier for patients to access and understand them.
