Which patients are good candidates for Journeys?
The ideal candidates for Journeys fall into two main categories.
1. Patients looking to take a more proactive approach to their health, who want to keep track of their baselines in order to find optimal ranges and make proactive steps.
2. Patients monitoring known health concerns who are looking to measure the ongoing impact of their plans.
How do payments get handled for Labs Journeys?
While patients are familiar with the idea of getting a conventional labs workup at their annual physical, the truth is these are typically basic tests that don’t provide deep insights. Journeys deliver a more detailed look at whole person health – assessing up to 120 biomarkers – to give providers the ability to monitor health trends over time.
How do payments get handled for Labs Journeys?
Fullscript takes care of the patient messaging and managing of all Journeys payments. Patients pay for their initial Journey panel at the time of recommendation. They are notified and charged prior to every future test occasion. Once payment has been confirmed they are guided to schedule their next Quest lab draws.
Can I add a custom fee to the Journey?
Yes. You will have the ability to add a custom interpretation fee to the Journey if you choose. Fees can be charged at the initiation of the Journey – a one-time fee – or can be set up as a recurring fee added to each panel.
What happens if I want to cancel or change a Journey?
Journeys can be canceled at any time by the provider or the patient. However, custom fees from previously run panels are non-refundable. Providers have the ability to modify the frequency of a Journey at their discretion.
What are interpretations and how do they work?
Journeys deliver a huge trove of biomarker data for providers to consider. Our medical advisory team – with over 100 years of functional health experience – sets optimal range benchmarks for each biomarker and uses advanced intelligence to assess results. This helps you utilize your time and expertise more efficiently.
Can I create a custom panel for Journeys?
At this time, we are offering two expert curated Journey panels – Comprehensive and Essentials. However, we understand some practices have specific needs and will soon be launching the option to create custom panels. With over 900 biomarkers available, you’ll soon be able to personalize panels for a particular patient or create a custom panel specific to your practice.
