Order Labs Inside Zenoti with the New Fullscript EHR Integration

Published on October 19, 2026

For medspas, wellness centers, and IV therapy clinics, lab work is often where care gets complicated. A provider orders a panel in one portal, checks for results in another, and pieces the plan together back in their EHR. Every handoff takes time, and every extra system is another place for a patient to slip through the cracks.

Fullscript now integrates with Zenoti, the practice management and EHR software built for medspas, spas, and wellness businesses. With the Fullscript + Zenoti integration, providers can place lab orders, manage lab plans, and track results from a guests profile in Zenoti, so lab work stays connected to the rest of their care.

Note: Patients and patient profiles are referred to as ‘guests’ in the Zenoti platform.

What the Fullscript + Zenoti integration does

The Zenoti integration brings labs on Fullscript directly into Zenoti. Once you're connected, you can:

  • Order labs where you already work: Place lab orders from a guest's Medical Record tab or right from the Appointment Book, with access to a wide range of blood and specialty lab tests on Fullscript.
  • Save time on repeat orders: Save a combination of tests you order often as a Custom Panel, then add the whole set in one click next time.
  • Give guests flexible ways to pay: Send checkout to your guest by email or SMS so they can pay from their phone, or pay on their behalf in Fullscript with a card saved to your practice account.
  • Track every order through to results: Each lab order appears in the guest's guest profile with a clear status: Drafted, In Progress, Results Ready, or Cancelled.
  • Keep a complete lab history: Orders over time appear together, along with who placed each one, so your team has a clear record.

Fullscript integrates with 30+ EHRs and health platforms so providers can manage care in the tools they already use, without jumping between systems or duplicating work. For Zenoti practices, that means lab results live in the same guest profile as appointments and treatment history, ready to inform a personalized plan and the next follow-up.

Who the Zenoti integration is for

Zenoti is used by beauty and wellness businesses of all sizes, from single-location medspas to multi-location brands. The Fullscript integration is designed for the licensed providers in those practices, such as physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses, who want to add lab testing and personalized plans to their wellness, aesthetic, and IV therapy services.

The integration is currently available to practices in the United States, except New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, which are not yet supported.

Did you know? Providers with limited ordering access can still recommend lab testing on Fullscript using our authorization network.

How to set up the Zenoti integration

  1. Enable lab orders in Zenoti: Contact your Zenoti representative to turn on the lab integration for your account. Owner and service provider roles can view and place lab orders by default. Admins can grant access to other roles, like front desk staff, under Configurations > Security > Security Roles > Medical Hub.
  2. Connect to Fullscript: In the Appointment Book, click More and select Connect to Fullscript. You can also start from the Medical Record tab in any guest profile.
  3. Log in or create your account: If you already use Fullscript, log in with your existing credentials. If you're new, sign up with your license number, NPI, and practice address. Fullscript accounts are free, with no contract or setup fee.
  4. Invite your team: The first person to connect becomes the account owner. Each provider then connects individually and is invited to the same Fullscript account, so every order stays under one practice account.

How ordering labs in Zenoti works

Here's what a lab order looks like in practice. During a visit, a provider opens the guest's guest profile, goes to the Medical Record tab, and selects the option to place a lab order. They choose a lab company, add the tests they need (or a saved Custom Panel), and send checkout to the guest by email.

The guest pays from their phone and completes their testing. In Zenoti, the order moves from Drafted to In Progress to Results Ready. When the report is ready, the provider can review it right in the guest's profile, without logging in to a separate lab portal, and use it to guide the next step in the guest's plan.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Does Zenoti integrate with Fullscript?

Yes. Fullscript integrates with Zenoti through an embedded labs integration. Providers can order labs, send checkout to guests, and view lab status and results from a guest's guest profile in Zenoti.

What can I do with the Zenoti EHR integration?

You can place lab orders from the Medical Record tab or Appointment Book, save Custom Panels, choose whether the guest pays or you pay on their behalf, and track each order from Drafted to Results Ready. All lab plans, orders, and results are saved to the guest's profile in Zenoti.

Can I recommend supplements through the Zenoti integration?

The Zenoti integration is built for labs. Lab plans, orders, and results sync back to the guest's guest profile in Zenoti. You can still recommend supplements in Fullscript, but those recommendations won't appear in Zenoti.

Will labs I order directly in Fullscript show up in Zenoti?

Yes. Once a guest's Zenoti profile is connected to Fullscript, lab orders placed directly in Fullscript also sync to Zenoti.

Where is the Zenoti integration available?

The integration is currently available in the United States, except New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, which are not yet supported.

Who on my team can place lab orders?

Owner and service provider roles in Zenoti can view and place lab orders by default. Admins can give other roles View or Place permissions under Configurations > Security > Security Roles > Medical Hub.
