Frequently asked questions

When will I need to move my account?

The move to Fullscript will roll out in phases starting in summer 2025. We’re carefully evaluating the features your practice relies on and the lab companies you order from to place you in the right group. You’ll receive plenty of advance notice, along with detailed resources to guide you through the process, so you’ll know exactly what to expect well ahead of time.

Will all my information and results history be transferred to Fullscript?

All of your Rupa account data—patient order history, lab orders, favorites, and custom bundles—will be securely transferred to your Fullscript account. When we’re ready to move your account, your team will have a dedicated window to choose the best time for us to complete this step for you.

Will I still be able to access Rupa after my information has been transferred?

All of your historical, in progress, and new orders can be fully managed on Fullscript. While you won’t need to return to Rupa for any updates, you will be able to access your information in a view-only mode even after your move to Fullscript.

Will I be able to order the same tests I use on Rupa?

We’re committed to offering a comprehensive selection of specialty and blood labs across health categories to best support your practice. Fullscript currently partners with Quest Diagnostics, Genova, Precision Analytical (DUTCH), Diagnostic Solutions, Doctor’s Data, 3×4 Genetics, Boston Health, and Gemelli Biotech. We’re working closely with Rupa’s diagnostic partners to unify the test catalogs – including adding new lab partners – to ensure you can access the same top lab companies and tests at affordable cash-pay prices.

How does Rupa’s test pricing compare to Fullscript?

Both Rupa and Fullscript offer the same low provider price that you enjoy ordering directly from the labs. Additionally, Fullscript offers a direct integration with Quest Diagnostics for low cash pay rates.

Will my EHR be integrated with labs on Fullscript?

Fullscript integrates with many leading electronic health record (EHR) platforms and practice management software so you can easily recommend lab testing to your patients without leaving your EHR platform. Once you move, you can find all of our integration partners in our Integrations Marketplace so you can quickly connect and continue your care.

What labs billing options will be available to me on Fullscript?

Fullscript’s flexible labs billing options allow you to continue choosing a cash-pay billing method that works best for your practice:

  • Patient pay – Fullscript bills your patient directly. Patients securely checkout and pay using credit/debit or a 3-month interest free payment plan.
  • Practitioner pay – You pay upfront and bill your patient separately. Test pricing is not shown to your patients on the platform.
  • Custom fees – You add an additional fee in addition to the cost of testing, which Fullscript collects at checkout and pays out to your account.

If I need a signing provider, will Fullscript offer something like Physician Services?

If you have limited ordering access, you can opt into an authorization network, which allows you to recommend testing that is ordered and reviewed by a licensed clinician. For more details, see our authorization network guide.

What training and support resources will be available for me and my patients?

We’re here to make your move to Fullscript as simple as possible so you can pick up right where you left off. You’ll have onboarding resources that walk your team through the lab ordering process on Fullscript, along with direct support from our customer success team to ensure you’re fully set-up and answer any questions.

Your patient data and order history will transfer automatically, so your patients won’t need to take any action. When they log into Rupa, they’ll be redirected to Fullscript, where they’ll be able to access their previous testing information and continue their lab orders.

As a part of this move to Fullscript, your patients will also now have access to Fullscript’s specialized labs support team available by phone, chat, or email, working alongside our lab partners to assist them through every step of their testing process.
