Optimal Amino Blend by Seeking Health is a comprehensive, well-balanced, and hypoallergenic blend of 20 amino acids. Amino acids are organic compounds that are essential building blocks for proteins. There are thousands of different proteins in the body, each with distinct functional properties, which are all constructed from different combinations of the 20 common amino acids. These essential building blocks are needed to form structural proteins like muscle, hair and collagen, and functional proteins like enzymes, antibodies, and other molecules essential for life. Amino acids also play important roles in immune health, neurological function, detoxification, and energy production.
