Pro Pea Balance supports glucose and lipid metabolism using an effective combination of pea protein, alpha lipoid acid, chromium, and polyphenol-rich berry extracts. Pea (Pisum stativum) protein helps to promote a healthy postprandial glycemic response. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant compound produced endogenously by mitochondria.
Alpha-lipoic acid supports healthy glucose metabolism through a number of different mechanisms, including enhanced glucose uptake in muscle tissue via increased translocation of GLUT4 glucose transport proteins. Chromium is an essential mineral that helps to improve glucose tolerance and metabolism. Strawberry extracts have been shown to support healthy lipid metabolism, while blueberry extracts have been found to provide antioxidant support.*

In a glass, add 8 ounces (250 ml) of water, juice or milk to one scoop of Pro Pea Balance and mix. Take once daily or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
