Recommended Dose
Adults take 1 to 2 teaspoons (6 - 12 grams) once daily.

Cautions and Warnings
Consult your health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within 7 days. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking any prescription medication or any medication which inhibits peristaltic movement (e.g. opioids, loperamide). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever (as these could be signs of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, diseases of the esophagus and/or the superior opening of the stomach (cardia), potential or existing intestinal blockage, paralysis of the intestine, megacolon, fecal impaction, inflamed bowel or appendicitis). If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. This product has come into contact with milk and/or soy. Do not use this product if you have a milk and/or soy allergy.
Contra-Indications
If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking the product, seek immediate medical attention. Do not use if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product. Do not use if you have diabetes. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing. If you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment), do not use this product.
Known Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur in which case, discontinue use. May cause temporary gas/flatulence, bloating, loose stools, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort.
Supplement Facts
Take 1 Teaspoon Once Per Day
Keep out of reach of children. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within seven days. If you are taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement, do not use. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking the product, seek immediate medical attention. If you have a faecal impaction or rectal bleeding, consult a healthcare practitioner. If you are taking medications, take this product at least two hours before or after them, because the absorption of medication may be inhibited. If you have serious health issues while taking this product, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner. Hypersensitivity such as allergy may occur following the ingestion of psyllium; in which case, discontinue use. Loose stools, flatulence, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort have been known to occur. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating. Drinking adequate water is essential for healthy bowel movements while taking this product. Ensure adequate fluid intake. Use may aggravate symptoms of intestinal obstruction. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen beyond ten days. Do not use if security seal under bottle cap is broken. Store at room temperature. Protect from heat and humidity. Avoid severe heat. Do not refrigerate. Keep lid tight, and closed when not in use. Color, density, and taste may vary from lot to lot.
