R+ Alpha-Lipoic Acid

Alpha lipoic acid is a compound involved in energy metabolism, and functions with the mitochondria as an anti-oxidant. It has been studied for its use in diabetic neuropathy, blood pressure, and blood sugar. The R+ enantiomer appears to increase bioavailability.

Suggested Use:
Adults: Take 1 capsule three times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.

Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 3 months.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide in a non-GMO vegetable capsule composed of carbohydrate gum and purified water.

Do not exceed recommended dose. Discontinue use if you have any symptoms of gastric distress (abdominal pain, flatulence, and constipation). Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you have diabetes. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner in case of sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness, and/or confusion, as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar.
