Description
Enteric-Coated Pancreatic Enzymes. Digestive aid. Helps to decrease bloating after high-calorie, high-fat meals.
Directions of use:
Adults: Take 1 capsule one to four times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Take with or immediately before a meal/food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Use the smallest effective dose which controls symptoms. Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

The Pancreatin capsules are enteric-coated. This is important because the capsules are protected from the stomach acids. The Pancreatin capsule must be delivered to the small intestine in order to work. Capsules that are not enteric coated will be destroyed in the stomach by stomach acids.
Non medicinal ingredients: A non-GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum, purified water, and aqueous coating solution.
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, or sugar
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, or cystic fibrosis; or if you have diabetes. Contraindications: Do not use if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or to pork protein. Known adverse reactions: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain epigastric pain and/ or heartburn have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner. Store in a tightly closed, light-resistant container in a cool, dry place. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
