Description
Primary action: The primary action of Vitamin D is as a necessary co-factor in calcium absorption and utilization. It is especially important in the winter months to increase Vitamin D levels due to lack of exposure to the sun.
Research has indicated that Vitamin D is useful for heart health, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, diabetes, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Recent scientific research has suggested taking 1000 I.U. of Vitamin D as a way to prevent a number of different types of cancers. The scientific evidence was compelling enough to prompt a media announcement from the Canadian Cancer Society in support of Vitamin D as a preventative measure for cancer.
Suggested Use:
Adults: Take 1 drop (1000 IU) per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner. Can be mixed with juice or water. Shake well before use.
