Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a potent natural antioxidant, is the major agent in green tea. Anthocyanidins are colourful antioxidant compounds found in high concentrations in fruits and berries, that help protect against oxidative stress and maintain DNA integrity. Anthocyanidins also act to support healty inflammatory balance and maintain vascular permeability. Supplementation with lycopene, a potent carotenoid antioxidant, may help support blood pressure levels already in the normal range.*
