The selenium in Seleno-Sorb is a single chemical entity containing molecularly integrated selenium. It is an organic compound and the predominant form of selenium found naturally occurring in foods. L-(+)-Selenomethionine is rapidly and completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Organically bounded selenium plays a pivotal role in the body's detoxifying system and in the prevention of disease.
