Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you are taking carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity. These may include but are not limited to: L-tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John’s wort, antidepressants, pain medications, over-the-counter cough and cold medication containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea medication and anti-migraine medication. If you have one of the following conditions consult a health care practitioner prior to use: epilepsy, scleroderma, high blood pressure, hormonal disorder, diabetes, stomach or intestinal ulcers, liver disease, kidney disease, cancer, endometriosis, bleeding disorder, seizure disorders, immune compromised health conditions, asthma and allergies, auto-immune disorder, heart disease and any medication related to the heart, mental health disorders, and/or if you are taking prescription medications, natural health products or other supplements. If convulsions, seizures, vomiting, diarrhea or any low blood sugar symptoms such as sweating, weakness, hunger, trembling, headache, confusion, irritability, aggressiveness, nervousness, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, and light headedness occurs, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea and vomiting have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. If you have a milk allergy do not use this product, it may contain casein. If you have a hypersensitivity to vitamin B3 please consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Vitamin B3 may cause redness, itching, a warm feeling of the skin that is usually mild and transient. Consumption of alcohol, or any products that have a sedative effect may contribute to drowsiness caused by this product. Do not use if you have alcoholism, are taking daily sedatives and/or other sleep aides, and/or if you are operating machinery, or driving a motor vehicle.
