Blessed Thistle

Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a digestive tonic and bitter to increase appetite and aid digestion (stomachic), to help relieve dyspepsia, and as an expectorant to help relieve cold symptoms such as excessive catarrh.

Blessed Thistle is used for loss of appetite and indigestion, to promote lactation, and to treat colds and fever.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 1 ml): Blessed Thistle tops (Cnicus benedictus) 250 mg QCE (1:4)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Grain alcohol, Distilled water, Vegetable glycerine

QCE = Quantity Crude Equivalent

Adults: Take 2.4-4.8 ml (72-144 drops) 3 times daily in a little water before meals.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.

Cautions and Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist or before use if you are breastfeeding.

Known Adverse Reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal is broken. Store at room temperature.
