Biometrics from Oura Ring and Apple Health Now in Fullscript
If you’ve ever relied on patient recall to understand sleep, stress, or activity between visits – you’re not alone.
Most of the signals that shape patient health happen outside the clinic. But today, that data often lives in disconnected apps, screenshots, or conversations that are hard to monitor and act on.
That’s why we’ve introduced a new way to bring your patients’ daily health data into one place – directly within Fullscript.
What’s new: Wearable insights, right in the patient profile
Patients can now connect supported wearable devices – like Oura Ring and Apple Health – to Fullscript. This brings that daily physiological data into the patient profile, giving you ongoing visibility into how their body is responding between visits.
Instead of relying on fragmented or self-reported data alone, you’ll see:
- Physiological insights across sleep, activity, stress, heart rate, and recovery
- Trends over time across daily health signals
- Context from patient-reported feedback
- Tips on how to use physiological insights to guide care
All within your patient’s profile.
This release helps providers:
Access daily health insights without relying on recall: Connected devices sync biometric data like sleep, stress, and activity directly into Fullscript, so you can understand how your patients are doing day-to-day without waiting for them to bring it up in appointments.
See a more complete picture of patient health: Analyze physiological data next to labs and patient-reported inputs to get a broader view of how lifestyle factors – like sleep, nutrition, and stress – are impacting health over time.
Get continuous visibility: Once a patient connects their device, data syncs in the background. No uploads, no manual requests, no extra steps for you or the patient.
Support patients between visits with better context: With access to trends over time, you can better understand changes in patient health and provide more informed guidance—without waiting for the next appointment.
How it works
- Patients connect their wearable device: From the Health tab in the mobile app, patients can connect supported devices like Apple Health or Oura Ring.
- Data syncs automatically: Biometric data syncs automatically, and patients can add context through a short lifestyle survey covering sleep, stress, diet, and activity.
- You see trends directly in the patient profile
View key biometrics and patterns over time – alongside other health data—to support more informed care decisions. - Patients choose what to share
Patients control which providers can access their wearable data and can update sharing preferences at any time.
The bottom line
Wearable integrations bring daily health signals into focus – so you’re not limited to snapshots in time or patient recall.
With better visibility into how your patients are doing between visits, you can spot patterns earlier, guide care more effectively, and deliver more personalized support over time.
