Patients Upload Past Labs. You Get Structured Results.

Published on May 25, 2026

If you’ve ever spent valuable appointment time digging through PDFs, chasing down old lab results, or asking patients to re-send files – you’re not alone.

Getting a complete view of a patient’s lab history is one of the most time-consuming (and fragmented) parts of delivering care. And when that data is hard to access, it’s harder to connect the dots, spot trends, and move forward with confidence.

That’s why we’ve introduced a new way to bring all of your patients’ lab data into one place – no matter where it came from.

What’s new: Lab uploads in Fullscript

Patients can now upload their lab results through the Fullscript mobile app. Those static reports are then transformed into structured, easy-to-review results – giving you a centralized, longitudinal view of their health.

Instead of reviewing disconnected PDFs, you’ll see:

  • Individual biomarkers broken out clearly
  • In-range and out-of-range indicators
  • Visual summaries of results
  • Trends across uploaded lab results over time

All within your patient’s profile.

This release helps providers:

  • Save time tracking down lab results: Patients can upload lab results you didn’t order, giving you access to everything in one place.
  • Act on clearer insights: Lab results are transformed into structured biomarker data with clear range indicators and visual summaries, making it easy to quickly spot what’s out of range and understand trends.
  • Avoid unnecessary testing: When patients already have recent lab work, you can use those results to guide next steps without defaulting to ordering new labs, helping you deliver care more efficiently.

How it works

  1. Patients upload their lab results
From the Health tab in the mobile app, patients can upload supported lab reports (PDF, JPEG, or PNG).
  2. Results are structured and reviewed
Biomarkers are extracted and organized. Patients confirm values before sharing with providers.
  3. You get a clear, visual summary
View biomarkers, ranges, and trends over time – all within the patient profile.
  4. Patients choose what to share: Patients control which providers can access their lab data at any time.

The bottom line

Lab uploads help turn fragmented data into a single source of truth – so you can spend less time piecing together the past and more time guiding what comes next.

Because better visibility leads to better conversations, better decisions, and more personalized care.
