Fullscript’s Kyle Braatz named Ottawa's CEO of the Year
The past 12 months have been full of growth, opportunity, and accomplishment for Fullscript. From partnering with experienced growth technology and health and wellness investors HGGC and Snapdragon, to acquiring Emerson Ecologics and Wellevate, we’ve been able to take our mission of helping people get better further than ever before.
That’s why we’re so proud that our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kyle Braatz, is not only a winner in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2022 Ontario program, but was also recently named CEO of the Year by the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Board of Trade.
About the CEO of the Year award
The CEO of the Year is an award established by Ottawa Business Journal in 2000 and now co-presented with the Ottawa Board of Trade. The goal of the award is to recognize the high caliber of CEO talent in Ottawa. Nominees are selected based on a variety of criteria including corporate performance, leadership and vision, community involvement, and more.
From entrepreneur to entrepreneurial CEO
Inspired by his grandfather to enter the world of social entrepreneurship, Kyle has always been driven by his passion to do good for others. It’s also what led him and his co-founders, Brad Dyment and Chris Wise, to create Fullscript eleven years ago, after realizing integrative practitioners and patients needed an easier way to dispense supplements and access wellness.
Since starting up, Kyle has been able to achieve a great deal of success in a relatively short time. It therefore only makes sense that he’s one of the youngest people ever to be named Ottawa’s 2022 CEO of the Year.
“Having a recipient under the age of 40 really illustrates that next-generation leaders are stepping up in Ottawa’s technology sector to continue its growth and evolution.” –
