Fullscript and the Institute for Natural Medicine Announce Collaboration to Advance Whole-Person Care Education with Renowned Research University

Ottawa, CANADA and Seattle, WA (December 18, 2025)Fullscript and the Institute for Natural Medicine (INM) today announced a strategic collaboration to create evidence-based educational content on whole-person care, co-developed with Georgetown University. Designed specifically for conventionally trained healthcare professionals, this new educational offering will explore science-based integrative approaches that support the delivery of more comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Early registration and additional details are available on the course landing page here.

Grounded in rigorous, data-driven clinical application, the curriculum bridges conventional and integrative medicine, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing whole-person care and empowering clinicians with practical, research-backed tools. This initiative represents an important milestone for MDs, DOs, NPs, nurses, and PAs seeking to deliver more personalized care that aligns with the evolving needs and expectations of patients.

As part of the collaboration, Fullscript will also develop additional educational modules for learners seeking deeper clinical insights. These modules will highlight shared values around innovation, education, and patient-centered care while supporting clinicians in expanding their integrative toolkit.

“Clinicians are looking for trusted guidance on how to bring whole-person, integrative approaches into practice in a way that’s both evidence-informed and clinically realistic,” said  Dr. Jeff Gladd, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Fullscript. “I received very little nutrition and supplement education in my training and that gap continues in many traditional medical education programs. By combining INM’s leadership in root cause medicine and Georgetown University’s academic rigor, along with Fullscript’s commitment to high-quality, evidence-informed education, we’re creating education that clinicians can trust and immediately apply to improve patient outcomes.”

"In a moment when patients are increasingly seeking whole-person care, it’s important to offer clear and practical information on approaches that prioritize personalized, low-force interventions like lifestyle modifications and nutrition,” says Michelle Simon, PhD, ND, President and CEO of the Institute for Natural Medicine. “Presenting the evidence for key whole-person therapies, as well as current providers who prioritize these methods, will help demystify whole-person care and allow clinicians to meet the rapidly changing healthcare landscape."

The collaboration underscores a growing recognition across the healthcare landscape: that whole-person, integrative approaches are increasingly essential to meeting patient expectations and delivering sustainable, long-term health outcomes. Together, Fullscript and INM aim to make this education more accessible, relevant, and impactful for the providers who need it most.
