Dr. Larry May was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was educated at Harvard College, graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He then received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. May has been a professor at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine for over 30 years. He is the author of many articles and several books, including the widely utilized and best selling medical textbook Primary Care Medicine. He has appeared in the media, lectured internationally, and consulted to industry and medical institutions, where he also serves on their boards. He is the formulator of widely used dietary supplements.
