Fullscript Assist follows Fullscript’s established privacy and security practices for handling healthcare information. Provider and patient data used within the feature is not used to train AI models and is handled in accordance with Fullscript’s established privacy practices.

Will my patients see the insights generated by Fullscript Assist?

No. Fullscript Assist is a provider-facing tool. The insights, suggestions, and supporting evidence are only visible to providers while creating or editing patient plans. Patients will only see the final plan and associated product recommendations you choose to include.

No. Data processed through Fullscript Assist is handled within infrastructure and services configured to protect customer data and maintain logical separation between organizations and accounts.

Is it safe to use the AI assistant for my clinical work?

With the current safeguards in place, Fullscript Assist is designed to be used safely for day-to-day work tasks. Security controls have been implemented to reduce common AI risks, including prompt injection and improper data handling The assistant is also designed to protect patient privacy. Conversations are limited to a single patient and cannot span across multiple patients, helping ensure patient data remains separate and secure. Additional controls continue to be added as the platform evolves.

Can I upload lab results from outside of Fullscript to Fullscript Assist?

Yes. You can upload PDFs (including lab reports, research papers, etc.) and have Fullscript Assist analyze the data and include it in its answers. It can give you clinical summaries, or even patient-friendly descriptions to review and include in your plan-writing. Uploaded documents are encoded, and stored securely within conversation contexts for processing purposes only. Access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel. Documents are processed through secure channels with appropriate access controls and audit logging.
