Chai Hu Shu Gan San

These formulas are Blue Poppy's high-concentrate extract versions of formulas you use every day, but stronger than most other ready-made or patent formulas. These 46 formulas are some of the most important and frequently used in a clinical environment. If you have never tried Blue Poppy's Originals line because you only use classic formulas, they ask that you give these powerful extracts a try. Blue Poppy Classics are packaged in a bottle of 120 capsules (500 mg each) and are 10:1 concentrated extracts. Their refined extraction method delivers the decoction equivalent of 5 grams of herbs per capsule, allowing you to use fewer capsules to deliver the suggested daily dose.

About Blue Poppy Classics:

• 10:1 concentrated herbal extracts
• Each capsule equals 5 grams of decocted herbs
• Laboratory tested to confirm the identity of the raw material, and for microbiological contaminants and heavy metals

Dosage
According to Him-che Yeung in Handbook of Chinese Herbs and Formulas, Vol. 2, the standard daily dose in decoction for this formula is 48 grams. Because of the 10:1 concentration ratio and the efficiency of our manufacturing process it would take only 7 capsules per day of Blue Poppy's version of this formula to equal the standard daily dose. The actual prescribed dose should be determined by the practitioner on a case by case basis.
