Key Ingredients
Iodine Iodine and iodide are crucial for T4 to T3 conversion and are essential substrates for synthesis and thyroid cell membrane lipids.* Selenium The selenomethionine in ThyroCare is yeast-free, unlike other forms of selenium. It is incorporated into a number of selenoproteins required for T4 conversion.*

Blue Flag Root Rarely found in dietary supplements due to sourcing challenges, certified organic blue flag root has a history of traditional use to support thyroid function and natural liver detoxification processes.* Nettles Certified organic nettles and ginger support a balanced inflammatory response.*

Myrrh Guggul myrrh supports optimal iodine uptake and thyroid enzyme activity.* Supplementation Adults take 1 to 2 capsules twice daily. Caution: Be sure to monitor patients for iodine sensitivity. ThyroCare is contraindicated in “hot” thyroid nodules and tachycardia. The formula may potentiate thyroid hormone therapy, especially after 1-3 months. Therefore, some hypothyroid patients may need to lower their dose of the hormone after 1-3 months on ThyroCare.
