Key Ingredients

Folic Acid as MTHF methylated folate (5-methyltetrahydrofolate)

Leafy green vegetables and other foods naturally contain methylated folate, the form best utilized by the body. However, synthetic folic acid (B9)- most commonly found in supplements and fortified foods- must be

converted to methylated folate to be utilized. Research has since revealed that over 30% of the population may have a genetic variation that prevents this crucial conversion, leading to low levels of 5-MTHF.* Supplementing with the methylated form of B9 bypasses this conversion issue, supporting proper methylation.* This process is essential for

converting homocysteine to methionine and for producing key neurotransmitters like serotonin and melatonin.*

Vitamin K2 as MK-7

Vitamin K2 isn’t stored in the body like other lipid-soluble vitamins, so it requires daily dosing for optimal function.* K2 is available in supplement form as MK-7 and MK-4, however, MK-7 is the more bioavailable and active form of K2, allowing for once-daily dosing, which makes it the superior option. Conversely, MK-4 has a short half-life and requires multiple doses throughout the day. Although some K2 is produced in the gut, this contribution is minimal and insufficient to meet essential nutritional requirements.*

Supplementation

Adults take 1 to 2 capsules daily.
