Nature’s Way Marshmallow Root is traditionally used to soothe digestion. *Marshmallow, which is native to Europe, western Asia, and the northeastern region of Africa, has been traditionally used for hundreds of years.* (The sweet treat marshmallows are no longer made from the plant.) Marshmallow grows in uncultivated sandy soil, often on the banks of rivers and marshes. The root has been used to make teas, tinctures, and powders.
