Is the Kola Nut in the formula a nut and should people with nut allergies avoid them? The Kola ""nut"" is a seed derived from the fruit of African Sterculiaceae trees and are distinct from classical allergenic tree nuts, so, no they are not a ""nut!"" What is the caffeine source and how much is in the greens+ extra energy blend? Greens extra energy provides 100mg of caffeine coming from the Kola nut seed, equivalent to one cup of coffee.

All our greens+ start with lecithin, this is a powerful ingredient that is overlooked by most other greens companies. Research shows this powerful ingredient is essential for biological function- from treating cholesterol, to aiding in digestion, to maintaining kidney and liver function. It's also rich in phosphatidylcholine (23%), known to support brain health.

A key benefit to lecithin is the support of nutrient absorption. It has been shown in research to aid in the absorption of phytonutrients as well as fat-soluble nutrients/vitamins.
