Folic Acid functions with vitamin B12 and ascorbic acid in the breakdown and utilization of proteins. It is necessary for the growth and reproduction of red and white blood cells, the formation of nucleic acids, the conversion of homocysteine to methionine, and the production of gastric HCl. Folic acid is essential for healthy fetal neural development.*

 

Suggested Use:
Take 1 capsule daily, with a meal.

Folic Acid ... 1,333 mcg DFE (800 mcg folic acid)

Other Ingredients: hypoallergenic plant fiber (cellulose), vegetarian capsule (cellulose, water).

Folic acid supplementation may mask vitamin B12 deficiency; however this usually occurs at doses of 1000 mcg or higher. If pregnant or lactating, consult your physician before taking this product.

Folic acid may adversely interact with chemotherapeutic drugs.
