Cran-Mannose UTI
The mechanism of action of cranberry is postulated to be antiadhesive, which would prevent bacteria from adhering to the uro-epithelial cells that line the bladder wall. D-Mannose has been shown to play a role in the antiadhesion of uropathogenic E.coli. Without adhesion, the bacteria cannot infect the mucosal surface of the urinary tract. Cran-Mannose UTI™ is an excellent high potency combination for the treatment of acute urinary tract infections due to E. coli and the prophylaxis of recurrent infections.
