AHCC® is a unique extract produced by cultivation and enzymatic modification of the mycelia of the Basidiomycota group of mushrooms also known as shiitake. Clinical studies have demonstrated that AHCC® may help support a healthy and balanced immune system response, as well as maintain healthy cell cycle function.* AHCC® also has been shown to promote proper liver function as well as a healthy response to typical everyday stress.*
Suggested Use / Directions:
Take 1 level teaspoon 1 to 2 times daily mixed in water or other liquid, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

At doses exceeding the recommended daily serving, AHCC® has been associated with mild, transient GI disturbances. In vitro data suggest that AHCC® is an inducer of CYP450 2D6 and therefore may theoretically interact with drugs such as doxorubicin, ondansetron, tamoxifen, etc. Consult your healthcare practitioner if you are taking immunosuppressant medications or have an auto-immune condition.
