Ryan Kelley is a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician, medical editor, and healthcare writer with over a decade of experience in clinical and health sciences publishing. He served as managing editor of the Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS), where he directed editorial operations for one of the field's leading publications and developed Mobile Integrated Healthcare in Action, a series on community paramedicine programs connecting patients with long-term care beyond the emergency department.
Earlier in his career, Ryan managed global editorial and production procedures at Elsevier, standardizing workflows across international teams for one of the world's largest academic publishers. He has also spent five years as a medical editor ensuring clinical accuracy and evidence-based rigor across consumer-facing health content. Ryan holds a B.A. in English from the University of Southern California.
