Benefits of mulberry leaf extract for skin health

Mulberry leaf extract is a natural wonder to help in skin cell recuperation and rejuvenation:

  • Helps to remove dark spots and discoloration
  • Improves the appearance of uneven skin tone
  • Helps protect the skin from environmental factors
  • Hydrates and nourishes the skin
  • Reduces the signs of premature aging
  • Promotes beautifully radiant and glowing complexion

What does mulberry leaf extract do?

Tyrosinase is the active enzyme that triggers melanin production (the brown pigment in our skin). Mulberry Leaf Extract works as a natural inhibitor of this enzyme and helps to slow down melanin production, preventing new areas of hyperpigmentation from forming and becoming visible on the upper layers of the skin.

This nutritious ingredient is abundant in vitamins and antioxidants, which can help to increase the production of Resveratrol in the body. Resveratrol helps to strengthen the skin’s natural barrier and protect it from UV rays whilst also neutralizing free radicals created from environmental factors. Free radicals break down skin cells and can contribute to the acceleration of aging, causing a loss of elasticity, lines, and wrinkles to appear.
