The Beginning

With the dream of building her own small private practice right out of Naturopathic Medical school, Dr. Alanna Dyment was eager to get started on the logistics and planning involved in getting her business up and running.

When developing her business plan, Alanna discovered the challenges of building her own supplement dispensary – especially the huge investment required to stock inventory, and the on-going costs of replacing expired products. She also factored in the time it would take to set up accounts with suppliers and manage restocking and pricing her inventory. The effort and investment required to manage an in-house dispensary seemed wasteful and inefficient. Dr. Dyment was determined to find a better way to dispense.

After an evening of brainstorming at their kitchen table, Alanna and her husband Brad came up with a simple solution, a Direct to Patient Model that would change the way of dispensing supplements forever.

From Vision to Reality

With Alanna’s vision of the perfect tool for her practice, and Brad’s skill in web development, our company was born – connecting suppliers, practitioners and patients together in one place and platform.

In order to turn their idea into a full scale dispensing platform that could assist practitioners across North America, Brad and Alanna Dyment brought in two of their close friends to help build the foundations of their new business. Kyle Braatz and Chris Wise joined them as co-founders, launching NDStorefront as the very first version of the company that would later become Fullscript.

Though our name and look has evolved, since day 1, our team has been obsessed with creating simple software that focuses on the best supplement dispensing experience for our practitioners and their patients.

By designing seamless software in-house, providing the best customer support in the industry, and bridging (but never replacing) supplier to practitioner relationships, we’re able to provide a quality practice tool that is truly changing the way health and wellness is prescribed.

Kyle Braatz

Chief Executive Officer

As a co-founder of Fullscript, Kyle is strongly committed to changing the way health and wellness is prescribed. Prior to Fullscript, Kyle co-founded Simple Story Videos, which has since been acquired. In 2009, Kyle started a not-for-profit organization that raised over $150,000 for cancer research. As part of this campaign, he cycled 8,200km across Canada! He also co-founded Noelle’s Gift, a charity in honor of his best friend, that has raised over $850,000 since its inception. He was the recipient of the 2016 Young Achiever Award from the University of Ottawa and at the age of 28, Kyle received Top 40 Under 40 award. During his studies at the Telfer School of Management, he also received the Alterna Social Responsibility Award. Kyle currently sits on the board of the Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.


Brad Dyment

Chief Product Officer

Brad is a co-founder of Fullscript. Having completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Carleton University, Brad also obtained an Advanced Diploma in Interactive Multimedia and Design from Algonquin College. Since then, Brad has founded design and web agency, Emagine, with hundreds of clients across the Greater Toronto Area. He has also supported the launch of a not-for-profit, Typically Canadian, which has raised over $150,000 for cancer research, and co-founded Noelle’s Gift, a charity which has raised over $850,000. Brad also co-founded Simple Story Videos, a company that was acquired in 2015, and received the Top 40 Under 40 award at the age of 27.

Chris Wise

Chief Technical Officer

Chris is a co-founder of Fullscript. Prior to Fullscript, Chris worked as a consultant with clients in a wide range of ventures, including the Federal Government of Canada, various international banks with branches in the US, and a variety of large enterprises, such as Nortel Networks. In recent years, Chris established what came to be the largest flag football league in the City of Ottawa within a 2-year span, and has been actively involved in the local development community, founding meetups such as the Go Lang meetup, which boasts 300+ members.


Taylor Fantin

Chief Operating Officer - CPA, CA

Prior to joining Fullscript, Taylor worked as an Operational Due Diligence Analyst at Albourne Partners in London, England, a market leader in alternative asset consulting. In this role, his research assisted large institutional investors in making asset allocation decisions, specifically in hedge fund investments. Before this, Taylor spent seven years as an auditor at Ernst & Young, working in offices in Canada, Bermuda, and England. At the time of his departure from Ernst & Young, Taylor was a manager in the asset management function and conducted audits on hundreds of funds, including some of the world’s largest publicly traded asset management firms. He obtained his accounting degree at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management.

Peter Hunter

Chief Financial Officer - CPA, CA

Peter brings many years of business experience to the Fullscript team, having worked with many early-stage companies. Most recently, Peter was COO/CFO of Privacy Analytics Inc., a software-as-a-service company focused on global privacy standards in the healthcare field, which was successfully exited to IMS Healthcare (now QuintilesIMS (NYSE:Q)). Over the past 15 years, Peter was involved with a number of successful technology companies, including Skywave Mobile (exited to Orbcomm), Nimcat Networks (exited to Avaya), Metconnex (sold to JDSU), TenXc Wireless (exited to CCI Inc.), Toon Boom Animation, and Trialstat. During this time, Peter successfully raised in excess of $150M in equity capital and made substantial contributions to the success of these organizations through various executive leadership functions. He obtained his accounting degree from the University of Ottawa.
