Pineal Concentrate provides normalization factors from the pineal gland and the posterior segment of the pituitary. The functions of the pineal gland remain to be completely described, but it is known that this tissue is light-sensitive and high in melatonin. This hormone blocks the ction of both melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). It, therefore, is felt to have a general depressive effect on the action of other glands. The pituitary fraction produces hormones which act as anti-diuretics, to raise blood pressure, and to cause uterine and mammary gland contractions. Raw veal bone and flaxseed provide synergistic factors.
