With the endless barrage of “anti-aging” solutions being made available by practitioners, we will examine the implications of this messaging. Caring for an aging population means that practitioners must be mindful of biases that can cause harm, such as overprescribing, inappropriate use of screening tools, overlooking or undertreating pain symptoms, and more. While practitioners still need to provide care for the very real health concerns that face an individual as they age, it should be done in a safe and mindful way.
This presentation with Dr. NavNirat Nibber, ND with Advanced Orthomolecular Research (AOR), will introduce a framework for building age-appropriate screening and therapeutic programs for clinicians to avoid unintended consequences of “anti-aging” rhetoric.
In this webinar, you’ll learn about:
- Consequences of ageist medical biases on aging population
- Healthy at any age screening tool
- Aging well (preserving longevity, mobility and health for patients)
